11 Alcorn State Football Players Arrested Following Fight On Campus

A number of Alcorn State football players were arrested in connection to an on-campus fight that occurred earlier this month.

The total number of players arrested is currently at 11, after a brawl broke out in the school’s cafeteria.

According to the Clarion-Ledger, the players arrested so far have been sophomore defensive back Lei’shaun Ealey, sophomore defensive back Deago Sama, freshman defensive back Taurence Wilson, freshman defensive back Javen Morrison, junior defensive back Daniel Franklin, sophomore linebacker Terry Whittington, freshman defensive lineman Kwanzi Jackson, sophomore defensive back Quintin Smith, junior defensive end Michael Brooks and junior defensive back Jalen Thomas.

There are more arrests that could reportedly come today.

All players arrested are facing charges of malicious mischief or simple assault, both misdemeanors.
