NFL Draft Rumors: Titans Have Offers For No. 5, Considering Move Down

NFL Draft rumors are heating up with less than 24 hours to go until the stage is set and the Cleveland Browns make the No. 1 overall selection, and it looks like we could have some movement in the top five.
According to reports on Wednesday morning, the Tennessee Titans are receiving trade offers for the No. 5 overall pick.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared the news, while adding Titans General Manager Jon Robinson is considering a potential move down in the draft.

There’s some belief that one of the potential trade partners could be the Browns, who would be looking to get back ahead of the New York Jets to draft either Mitch Trubisky or Deshaun Watson after taking Myles Garrett with the No. 1 pick.
Cleveland has a surplus of trade chips, so they could certainly offer up a nice deal.
It also helps that the Titans, who already have two first-round picks, but lack a second-rounder after some moves made during last year’s draft. Moving back a few spots to pick up a second-rounder could give the team more flexibility to see how the draft is playing out ahead of them.
Whether a trade ultimately happens remains to be seen, but a potential Browns-Titans deal doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch.
