Conor McGregor, Dee Devlin Welcome Newborn Son

UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and his longtime girlfriend Dee Devlin have welcomed their newborn son, Conor Jack McGregor, into the world.

McGregor’s son was born late last night at 8 pounds 14 ounces, according to McGregor’s father, Tony.

Conor Jr. was born at Coombe Maternity Hospital in Dublin.

Wasting no time, McGregor and Devlin rushed to Instagram to lock up the handle @conormcgregorjr for their newborn — an account that is already verified and has more than 3,500 followers at the time of this posting.

McGregor announced he and Devlin were expecting their son following his win over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 200 in New York.

The brash Irishman took time away from mixed martial arts to prepare for his child’s birth, so now questions will begin regarding when he could potentially return.

Is a summer return with a shot at the welterweight title on the line? Will McGregor defend his 155-pound strap or will he take on Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a highly-anticipated boxing match? There’s only one man who knows the answers to those questions, so for now we’ll just have to sit back and wait.

In the meantime, congratulations to McGregor and Devlin on the new addition to their family.
