UFC Fight Pass To Air 5 Live Fights A Week Tuesdays In July

For mixed martial arts fans who can never get enough fights, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has a new show coming to UFC Fight Pass that is just right for you.

On Friday in Dallas, UFC president Dana White announced the UFC will be producing a new original series that will air on UFC Fight Pass this summer. The show, titled Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, will begin airing on July 11, according to a report from MMAjunkie.com.

The new show will feature five live fights on UFC Fight Pass every week.

On the show — which takes place at The Ultimate Fighter gym in Las Vegas — will give prospects and veterans the opportunity to work their way back to the UFC while providing a showcase that will grant them additional exposure to fans.

“This sport continues to get bigger all over the world, and the more fights we can put on, the more talent we can find, the better the events will be for the fans,” White stated. “I love looking for up-and-coming talent. This show’s going to give us another opportunity to bring in young fighters who we think have potential to make it in the UFC or maybe even one day become world champions.

“It’ll also give some fighters who might be in a slump or on their way out of the organization an opportunity for that last shot. I truly can’t watch enough fights and I think our fans will love this new Fight Pass show.”

The UFC has been increasing its original programming on UFC Fight Pass, the company’s live streaming service, in recent months and the addition of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series will be welcomed.

If the show can produce any talent like Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight, we could get to witness some stars of the future.
