Barron Trump Thought Beheading Photo Was Real; Melania Issues Statement

Comedian Kathy Griffin shocked the world with her inappropriate photo that depicted the beheading of President Donald Trump as she held a bloody effigy in her hand.

The photo was widely condemned by both sides of the political spectrum for being in poor taste and Griffin later apologized before having the image pulled.

Now, we are learning more about how those closest to Trump reacted.

One person that many may not have considered was his 11-year-old son, Barron. According to a report from TMZ, Barron was horrified when he saw the photo on television and thought that something terrible had actually happened to his father.

“He’s 11. He doesn’t know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad,” a source told the website.

First Lady Melania Trump has also issued a statement on the matter:

This goes to show why you should consider every possibility before posting something for shock value.

Barron is a little kid who was horrified and thought something happened to his father that he was learning about through the television. The shock and horror has to be an awful feeling for any child.

And no matter how you put it, and no matter who is sitting in office, you should never depict the President of the United States in a violent manner.
