VIDEO: Seth Rogan, Stephen Colbert Troll Donald Trump Jr. On Twitter

Seth Rogen appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night. He was there to promote the second season of the television series Preacher, which he helped create and produces.

However, the majority of his time with Stephen had very little to do with promotion.

Rather, Seth mentioned casually that he noticed the Donald Trump Jr. followed him on Twitter. In his own way, Rogen attempted to do the greater good for the United States, and casually asked Trump Jr. to ask his dad to resign.

It only took a couple more direct messages before Colbert felt like he needed to get in on lobbying the President’s son to ask his dad to quit his job.

Check out Seth’s entire appearance below:

Rogen gets a lot of crap from people telling him to go back to Canada. This likely won’t help in getting them to stop doing that.

Then he decided to direct message him:

“Hey man! It’s Seth. Your father is trying to discredit our media, collude with Russia, and destroy the environment. It would be super of you to be like ‘yo dad, why don’t you stop all this and go back to being just a guy on TV.’ The majority of the world would be pretty psyched. Thanks!!”

The Stephen’s direct message:

Sup? Hanging out with @sethrogen. Why don’t you return his DM’s? How about we all chill together and burn one? Don’t tell @heyjamesfranco.

Rogen’s peppering of Trump Jr. on Twitter is probably going to end up rubbing a lot of people the wrong way, not that he seems to care. In response to those that tell him to go back to British Columbia, Rogen replies “I’m here to stay, whether you like it or not.”
