VIDEO: Nebraska Commits Tries To Do The Local Weather Forecast

They make it look so easy on the television. For years, we’ve watched the meteorologist give the weather forecast on the local news with ease. They point at various colors and figures on the projection they are standing in front of with confidence and ease, conveying complex weather patterns to the everyday layman.

These guys don’t do any of that stuff.

Don’t be too hard on them though. You might have noticed they aren’t meteorologists, but rather high school football players from the state of Nebraska.

Two of which, defensive tackle Masry Mapieu (#70) from York, Neb., and tight end Cameron Jurgens (#44) from Beatrice, Neb.

It’s difficult to tell if they’re reading off of a script, or are freestyling the forecast, or something in between. They all say something different while looking at the same projection. At one point or another, almost all of them point in the wrong direction because of the reversed image on their monitors.
