Spike Lee Captures Feelings Of Every Knick Fan In One Photo

Phil Jackson is out of New York. What was heralded as the move that would put the franchise over the top a few years ago went sour quickly.

The Zen-master lost a lot of credibility with fans and media for the way he publicly tried to force Carmelo Anthony out of New York. Then, he teased that he might be willing to trade Kristaps Porzingis ahead of the NBA Draft and the sports world lost its mind.

The multiple championship winning coach seemed in over his head in his role as franchise czar for the Knicks.

On Wednesday, Knicks-super fan and acclaimed director Spike Lee summarized the sentiment of every New York sports fan in a single photo. The caption included only one world: “Hallelujah”. There’s no doubt what he is referring to here.

HALLELUJAH.

Lee, who is a court side fixture for the New York Knicks couldn’t be happier. Look at his face; the joy and jubilation. That’s the look of every Knicks fan, who will now have to look for something else to blame when their team stinks.
