James Cook, Brother Of Dalvin Cook, Decommits From Florida State

Four-star running back James Cook has been committed to the Florida State football program since early 2016, but on Tuesday he announced he has decided to decommit from the Seminoles and will reopen his recruitment.
Cook, the younger brother of former FSU star Dalvin Cook, announced his decision on social media.
“After talking it over with my family and coaches, I feel like it would be in my best interest to de-commit from Florida State University,” Cook wrote. “Also, I woul like to thank coach Jimbo Fisher and the entire coaching staff for believing in me and my athletic abilities.
“It’s nothing personal, just business.”

Cook holds offers from a number of the top programs in the nation and recently took an unofficial visit to Georgia.
The 5-foot-11, 181-pounder is ranked as the No. 3 running back in the Class of 2018 and the No. 6 overall player in the state of Florida. Currently, Cook is projected to land with the Georgia Bulldogs.
