VIDEO: 76ers’ Ben Simmons Casually Drains Full-Court Shot

If Ben Simmons ever plays in an actual NBA game, all the 76ers will have to do is inbound the ball to him.

After that, just let Simmons heave it up from full court.

This week, Simmons posted a video of himself draining a full court shot with little effort, then promptly exiting the court.

Impressive, no doubt.

The 2016 first overall pick in the NBA Draft missed the entire 2016-17 season with a foot injury. After being the consensus top prospect out of LSU, Simmons has yet to show what he might be capable of doing on the floor of a professional basketball game.

He is expected to be ready to go and all full strength for the 2017-18 season. Between Simmons hitting a shot from the length of the floor, and fellow 76er Joel Embiid hitting one from center court, Philadelphia might have the most range from their big men in the NBA.

Simmons, Embiid and first-round selection Markelle Fultz are expected to combine for a potent young core that will make the 76ers contenders for years to come. Trust the process, as they say.
