UFC Fighter Galore Bofando KOs Charlie Ward By Slamming Him On His Face

UFC newcomer Galore Bofando (5-2) made his debut on the biggest stage in mixed martial arts on Sunday afternoon at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Bofando was taking on Charlie Ward, when he landed one of the most unique knockouts you will see.

Just two minutes into the fight, the two men were clinched against the cage when Bofando tripped Ward and threw him to the mat face first. Ward’s face smacked off the canvas and knocked him unconscious as referee Marc Goddard stepped in to save the day.

Check out the wild knockout:

That’s one way to get some attention. The knockout wasn’t enough to earn Bofando a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, but it definitely earned him some fans and set him up for a higher profile fight for his next outing in the Octagon.
