Late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert is currently celebrating “Russia Week” on The Late Show, and his latest segment dove headfirst into the sports world.
Colbert made his way over to Russia for a one-on-one meeting with none other than billionaire Russian oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov, the owner of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets.
Prokhorov invited Colbert into his home where all sorts of shenanigans went down.
From throwing ninja stars to posing with AK-47’s, Colbert and Prokhorov, who couldn’t be more different, appeared to be enjoying each other’s company.
Colbert even got to experience first-hand a bizarre training exercise that Prokhorov goes through, and he didn’t make it look very easy.
Do you think Nets players ever get invited over to Russia to enjoy the oligarch’s digs? If so, that would be one perk of playing in Brooklyn, because winning certainly isn’t one.
