Late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning, Taylor Swift released the debut single from her upcoming album “Reputation,” which is set to be released on Nov. 10.
The single, titled “Look What You Made Me Do,” instantly jumped to the top of the iTunes charts.
But there was one thing that really caught people’s ear.
When listening to the debut of her new single, it didn’t take long for anyone to realize a striking similarity between “Look What You Made Me Do” and the 1991 Right Said Fred hit “I’m Too Sexy.”

There is a very good reason for the similarity, however.
As it turns out, Right Said Fred band members Richard Fairbrass, Fred Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli all have co-writing credits on the track.
Whether Swift actually collaborated with Right Said Fred on the track or whether she just included them in the listing to avoid any lawsuit for the similarities of the track seems unknown at this time, but the band certainly enjoys the attention.

There’s another thing a lot of people have noticed about “Look What You Made Me Do,” as well. And that is the beat is awfully similar to “Operate” by Peaches” which was featured on the “Mean Girls” movie soundtrack.
Welcome to 2017, folks.
