First-Ever John Cena vs. Roman Reigns Match Set For No Mercy

John Cena and Roman Reigns will be involved in the main event of next month’s “No Mercy” pay-per-view.

On WWE Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Cena and Reigns will go head-to-head in a one-on-one match for the very first time in their careers.

The match became official after Cena made the move from SmackDown LIVE to Monday Night Raw last week following SummerSlam. The two men then joined each other in a tag-team match against Samoa JOe and The Miz, where Reigns accidentally clocked Cena with his signature Superman punch.

As two of the top, most polarizing stars in WWE, there should be plenty of intrigue and emotion from the fans.

WWE No Mercy takes place Sunday, Sept. 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
