Clemson Football: Tigers Unveil 2016 National Championship Sign

The Clemson Tigers rode their defense and the arm of Deshaun Watson to a National Championship in 2016. With the start of their 2017 season, they released the new signage that will hang in Death Valley to commemorate their championship victory.
Clemson is expected to take a step back after a number of players from their championship winning team left via the draft or graduation. But their upset victory over Alabama was one of the more memorable championship games in a long time.
Fans are likely to leave the stadium smiling with the result of the home opener. Clemson was a heavy favorite over the Akron Zips, and they went into halftime with a 28-3 lead.
Give it a few weeks before they face better competition, but the Tigers don’t view themselves as long shots to repeat as champs.

In his first game as Watson’s replacement, Kelly Bryant is 14-of-20 for 178-yards. He’s tossed one touchdown and one interception. On the ground, he’s rushed seven times for 77 yards.
He’s looking like an apt replacement for Watson early on.
