VIDEO: Texas' Holton Hill Scores A Pair Of Defensive Touchdowns

The Texas Longhorns didn’t exactly come out of the gates firing on all cylinders. In their first game under coach Tom Herman, things appeared on their way to getting out of hand early against the Maryland Terrapins.
It’s not fault of Longhorns defensive back Holton Hill, though. The talented defensive back his been putting in work to try and keep Texas in the game. Four plays into the season, he takes a deflected pass and turns it into a pick-six.

He wasn’t done yet, though. Texas hadn’t managed to get an offensive touchdown on the board and trailed the Terrapins 27-7. That’s when Hill took a blocked field goal and took it to the house.

Texas has made more of a game of it in the second half. They’ve closed the gap and trail by 10 points midway through the fourth quarter. The offense struggled mightily in the first half, and barring some kind of massive turnaround, they figure to be on their way to their first loss.
Texas is ranked No.23 in the country to start the season, a ranking coach Herman himself questioned after the Longhorns went 5-7 last season.
