Sloane Stephens was able to cap off a miraculous comeback story after returning from foot surgery earlier this year.
On Saturday, the 24-year-old rising star was able to claim her first Grand Slam tournament win with a victory over Madison Keys in the U.S. Open Women’s Final in New York.
Stephens needed just over an hour to earn the victory of the No. 15 seed Key (6-3, 6-0). It’s a major spark for her career after being ranked No. 957 just last month.
Following the big win, Stephens took to social media to celebrate the victory like she did her other monumental wins: a photo of herself sprawled out on the floor.

Stephens posted similar photos after her quarterfinal and semifinal wins, but this time her smile was beaming and the trophy was in hand.
Congratulations to Stephens on the big win an incredible run through the tournament.
Her rise to the top of the tennis world is going to make her $3.7 million winners check all the more enjoyable.
