Donald Trump Goes After ESPN On Twitter Because Jemele Hill Hurt His Feelings

Donald Trump started off his Friday morning with yet another Twitter tirade.
The Commander-in-Tweet mentioned some of his usual talking points on the social media service like his travel ban, loser terrorists, the Senate filibuster rule which he blames for his inability to accomplish any significant piece of legislation and, of course, his favorite punching bag — no, not the “fake news” or Jeff Sessions — ISIS.
Then, he decided to finish off his Twitter tantrum by turning his attention to a different acronym, ESPN.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports is on Trump’s list of enemies after SportsCenter host Jemele Hill went on a tweet storm of her own criticizing the president for his rhetoric and his unfitness to serve in office.
So when Trump was finishing off his morning outburst, he blasted ESPN and went on to demand an apology.

ESPN has already issued a statement on Hill’s comments, saying they were inappropriate and do not represent the network’s views and values.
Hill later issued a statement of her own, apologizing for putting her colleagues and network in an unfortunate light, though she did not apology for her actual comments — nor did anyone really expect her to.
But let’s put this all into perspective: The White House and president are targeting a private citizen for harmless comments made on social media. Here’s what our former president did when he was confronted with a mean tweet:

Let’s all just move on already.
