FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, Week 3: Clemson Closes Gap With Alabama

Week 3 of the college football season is in the books which means the Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation have revealed the latest FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
While the Alabama Crimson Tide remain atop the rankings, the Clemson Tigers are making up ground and have picked up seven first-place votes from a week ago following their dominating victory over Louisville Cardinals on Saturday night.
Sitting behind Alabama and Clemson is the Oklahoma Sooners with one first-place vote, while the Penn State Nittany Lions and USC Trojans round out the top five.
