ESPN College Basketball Coverage Adds Tom Crean & John Thompson III

ESPN has added some big names to its college basketball coverage for the 2017-18 season.
One Monday evening, ESPN announced it has added three former head coaches and two former stars to its roster of commentators.
Joining ESPN will be former Indiana and Marquette coach Tom Crean, former Georgetown coach John Thompson III, and former Arkansas women’s basketball coach Jimmy Dykes.
The two former players joining ESPN are Caron Butler, who was a standout at Connecticut, and former Purdue star Robbie Hummel.
“Our roster is distinguished by a range of history, experience and personality that sets our product apart,” said ESPN coordinating producer David Ceisler in a statement.
“We are so excited to add these new voices to our college basketball coverage.”
A complete list of this year’s game and studio teams for the college football season is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
