Gordon Hayward Is Already Back On The Basketball Court

It might draw comparisons to Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights, but Gordon Hayward is back on a basketball court and shooting from a chair.
The Boston Celtics highly-coveted free agency signing will be walking again soon enough, but he couldn’t wait to get out and start “putting the work in.”
Earlier this week Danny Ainge posted a photo of Hayward taking shots while sitting on a chair from just inside the free-throw line.

Hayward was the most coveted recruit this offseason, and when Boston signed him, they figured they’d put together a team capable of dethroning LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. But Hayward’s debut was spoiled midway through the first quarter when he landed awkwardly, resulting in a horrific injury that will sideline him for the rest of the year.
If this picture is any indication, Hayward is itching to get back out on the floor. He appears to be attacking his rehab as hard as he can, and hopes to be ready to go for the opening tipoff next season.
