Tua Tagovailoa Starts Second Half Of National Championship

Tua Tagovailoa came out to start the second half under center for the Alabama football team after starting quarterback Jalen Hurts struggled through the first half of the College Football Playoff National Championship.
With the Crimson Tide trailing the Georgia Bulldogs 13-0 at the half, Alabama coach Nick Saban decided to roll the dice and trotted out the true freshman.
Unfortunately for Alabama, the gamble did not pay off early with the Crimson Tide offense going three-and-out.
Throughout the 2017 college football season, Tagovailoa appeared in seven games and completed 35 passes for 470 yards, 8 touchdowns and just one interception. He added 106 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Alabama continues to trail the Bulldogs, 13-0, early in the second half.
