4-star WR Mannie Netherly announces Top 6

On Monday,  four-star wide receiver recruit Mannie Netherly announced his top six list. Netherly de-committed from Texas A&M and re-opened his recruiting earlier this year after a questionable tweet from an assistant coach, but it looks like the Aggies could still have a chance at landing the Texas native.

Neatherly announced his top six list on social media.

“I would like to thank all of the coaches and universities that gave me the opportunity to receive an education and play football at their college,” Netherly wrote. “Now I am narrowing my decision down to six schools, after taking unofficial visits and the guidance of my family these are my final six schools.”

The list was SEC heavy with LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M and Florida on the list. The sixth school was Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound pass catcher is currently rated the No. 35 player in the state of Texas.
