Al-Quadin Muhammad reveals injury on social media

The Miami Hurricanes still have not confirmed anything at this point, but leading sacker Al-Quadin Muhammad looks to have undergone some surgery recently. The defensive end let everyone know about his surgery on Instagram, but revealed no details of what the surgery was for.

However, a Miami spokesperson did report that the surgery was just minor and it looks like they asked Muhammad to delete the post. The post itself thanked God for a successful surgery and said that he would be back on the field soon.

Thank God surgery was a success minor set back I’m good though I’ll be back in no time [by the way] I’ll be ready for the season.”

Currently, Muhammad is expected to be back in football workouts within two weeks. His presence on the field for the Hurricanes this year will be a big reason for their success, if they are to have any under first-year head coach Mark Richt.

During the 2015 season, Al-Quadin Muhammad led the team in both tackles for loss with 8.5 and sacks with five.
