Auburn QB Tyler Queen to undergo shoulder surgery

According to reports, Auburn Tigers quarterback Tyler Queen is set to undergo surgery on his right shoulder today, after the injury forced him to sit out Auburn’s spring game.

Per the report, Queen’s surgery will be performed be world renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews.

Queen is expected to be 100 percent in time for the spring.

While Queen is not set to be a major player in the Auburn offense during the 2016 college football season, he provides depth in under center and could be called upon for emergency duties.

Currently, Jeremy Johnson, Sean White and John Franklin III are all listed ahead of Queen on the depth chart.

Johnson, White and Franklin are all competing for the starting job.
