Bears LB blasts Aaron Rodgers for his arrogance

There is no love lost between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, so it comes as no surprise that a member of the Bears defense is blasting Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today and he plays the game with an amazing passion. One person who does not seem to appreciate the fiery nature of Rodgers — and certainly not the discount double checks — is Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston.

Houston appeared on ESPN’s SportsNation to discuss Rodgers and he made his feelings very clear.

“He’s a little arrogant for me. He’s a little too arrogant,” Houston said on SportsNation. “He’s a cheesehead. I’m a Bear. He’s a cheesehead. But I have a lot of respect for his game, I will say that. He’s a great quarterback. As a player, I have a lot of respect for him … but the whole championship belt thing kind of gets on my nerves.”

One way to stop Rodgers from “showing off” with his championship belt celebration is to stop the Packers from reaching an endzone.

So if Houston wants to avoid being irritated by Aaron Rodgers the next time the rivals play, he better hope that the revamped Bears defense can get the better of the Green Bay offense.
