Former UNLV Rebels forward Ben Carter will be traveling to the Midwest to play for one of the best coaches in the nation for his final year of college eligibility. After taking a visit over the weekend, Carter has decided to transfer to Tom Izzo’s Michigan State Spartans.
Carter made the announcement on his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon.
For those who have been waiting for my announcement. I'll be heading to Michigan state next season to finish my college career.

Last season, Carter averaged 8.6 points and six rebounds in 24 minutes per game in his lone year with UNLV. He had spent the beginning of his collegiate career at Oregon.
Now, after passing on schools like Arizona, Arizona State, Miami, and N.C. State, Carter gets one last hurrah with a national championship contender.
