Caris LeVert cleared to play, will return to practice

The Michigan State Spartans struggled mightily in the month of January losing three straight and dropping out of the AP top ten before closing the month with a three-game win streak to get to 6-3.

One reason why the Spartans have not done a terrific job as of late is because they have been without one of their best players in Caris LeVert. On Tuesday, the team confirmed that he has been cleared to play and he will return to practice very soon.

LeVert has not played since December 30 while dealing with a lower leg injury. He is one of the most talented players in the country is expected to be a top NBA Draft pick.

Before his injury, LeVert was averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. If he comes back at full game form, the Spartans could make a late-season push that could see them get back into the Final Four.
