Clemson LB Ben Boulware responds to analyst’s criticism

Clemson junior inside linebacker Ben Boulware had an evidence-backed rebuttal for NFL Draft analyst Jon Ledyard after the writer questioned Boulware’s pro potential.

Ledyard tweeted that Boulware was “probably not” a top pro prospect. He also added that Boulware has a “short, squatty frame with minimal tackle radius and limited athleticism. But man he loves football and contact.”

Boulware didn’t take too kindly to the analysis, posting a picture of him making a leaping play in coverage with the caption, “limited athleticsm.” He also posted another picture of him tackling Heisman winner Derrick Henry with the caption under it, “minimal tackle radius.”

Lucky for Boulware, he isn’t being judged for this year’s draft, he will be on campus another year at Clemson, and eligible for the draft in 2017.
