A redshirt junior and former four-star recruit from Tallahassee, Blanks appeared in 10 games in 2015 and compiled 32 tackles and a sack. He missed all of 2014 with a knee injury and has 116 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles and 10 passes defended in three years with the Tigers, having also played defensive back.
Blanks isn’t a first round pick and just where he’ll land on Draft Day remains to be seen until he is evaluated at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis next month. Be sure to stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates from Blanks’ path to the pros!
