ESPN’s Holly Rowe to have tumor removed

Holly Rowe is undergoing surgery.

The long-time ESPN reporter revealed on Tuesday that she was undergoing surgery to have a tumor removed from her chest. This is the second such surgery that she’s had in the past year.

Rowe released a statement via ESPN:

“I wanted to share some personal news as I face a new challenge ahead. In May, I had a tumor in my chest removed and I have recently learned that there is a new tumor, which needs to be removed via surgery today. In the coming days, I will know more about what potential additional steps I may take to address this situation.

We want to wish Rowe nothing but the best from her upcoming procedure, and hope that every turns out in her favor. We can’t wait to see you back on the sideline in the very near future!
