Another day, another former Baylor signee switching his commitment to the Texas Longhorns. After landing Devin Duvernay, his twin brother Donovan Duvernay will be joining the Longhorns to behin his collegiate career this fall.
ESPN’s Gerry Hamilton reported that Duvernay had committed to Texas and signed a financial aid agreement with the school late Saturday night. He is third former Bear to commit to Texas this week.
2016 athlete @DDuvernay28 (Donovan Duvernay) has committed to #Texas & signed his financial aid agreement with the #Longhorns.

Duvernay is a three-star receiver out of Sachse, Texas and was the No. 61-rated ATH in the country for the 2016 class. Despite being the less athletic of the two brothers, he should play a big role for the Longhorns in the next few years to come.
Donovan Duvernay’s presence along with his brother, Devin, and offensive lineman JP Urquidez should make a big difference in the team’s freshman class. Their recruiting class was eighth in the country exiting National Signing Day and there is reason to believe it would be much higher now.
