The Florida Gators’ loss has become the Maryland Terrapins’ gain as they have added former four-star recruit JC Jackson for the 2016 season. He has enrolled with the team and will be immediately eligible for the upcoming season.
It was reported that Jackson has joined D.J. Durkin’s staff to continue his career with the Terrapins after it started pretty rocky. He was slated to be a big part of the Gators’ team after redshirting in 2014.
However, in April of last year, he was dismmissed from the school after he faced legal trouble off the field. He spent the 2015 season Riverside Community College.
JC Jackson will have three years of eligibility left once he takes the field with Terrapins this season. He recorded 25 tackles and two forced fumbles in six games during the 2015 season.
