There is some sad news to report in the football world today, as former Kansas Jayhawks football player Brandon Bourbon was found dead on Friday. Bourbon had been reported missing since April 2.
The news was first confirmed by 13 News WIBW.

According to the report, Maries County Sheriff’s Office say the cause of death is suicide.
Bourbon suited up for the Jayhawks from 2010-2013, including an impressive campaign as a junior that resulted in the player starting in all of his team’s 12 games. As you would expect, his former teammates are sending their thoughts and prayers on social media.
