Ex-Laker Samaki Walker claims Kobe punched him over $100 bet

When you make a bet with somebody and lose, you better be willing to pay up, especially if that someone is NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Former Los Angeles Laker Samaki Walker learned that the hard way.

Walker joined the Brown and Scoop show to talk about his career in the NBA and his time with the Lakers. He brought up a story of how he, Bryant, and the rest of the team made bets shooting half-court shots.

Walker lost to Bryant and explained that he thought he had 48 hours to pay Bryant his $100. He was approached by Bryant, who demanded his money, later in the day and got sucker-punched for not paying up.

“It was a sucker punch, right to the face,” Walker said. “Out of nowhere.”

You can listen to the full interview below.

What do you think, fans? Walker could be fabricating his story, but it certainly doesn’t sound false.
