The internet is abuzz regarding the latest speculation surrounding former Missouri Tigers quarterback Maty Mauk.
Mauk graduated from the university following his dismissal from the football team for repeated drug-related incidents, but now it looks like he is ready to begin a new chapter in his life and resume his football career.
“Officially done in Columbia and ready to start the next chapter. Thank you for everything you have done and are doing now to keep me going,” Mauk wrote on Instagram.
After those comments, Mauk’s Twitter bio was interestingly changed, now reading “Ohio ✈️ Missouri ✈️ EKU.”
So far, there is no confirmation on whether Mauk is joining the Eastern Kentucky football program.
Maty Mauk's Twitter bio indicates Eastern Kentucky is his next landing spot. No confirmation from Mauk or family at this point.

However, WTVQ ABC 36 reporter Kennedy Hardman tweeted (before deleting) that Eastern Kentucky had received Mauk’s commitment and that they were waiting for his financial aid agreement.
If Mauk does join Eastern Kentucky, he is eligible to play immediately.
