Former Ohio State TE not happy with recent coaching changes

The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of the few teams not to fire any of their coaching staff this offseason. On Friday, they announced a number of changes within their staff for the 2016 season.

The changes moved tight ends coach Tim Hinton into an administrative role with the team and took him off the sidelines. Former tight end Nick Vannett, who is heading to the NFL, was not happy with the team’s decision to remove him from the active coaching staff.

One fan told the tight end of the reports that Hinton had retired from that position to actually take his new role and that he wasn’t “forced out.” Vannett replied and seemed to suggest otherwise.

There seems to be a lot more that we don’t know. If anybody would have any insight on things going on behind the scenes, it’s a former player.
