John Cena returning on WWE Monday Night Raw

Just a few weeks ago, WWE confirmed that 15-time World Champion John Cena would be returning from the sidelines just months after having rotator cuff surgery. What better time for him to return than on Memorial Day as he is one of the biggest supporters of the United State Military being a former Marine himself.

Cena will be back in WWE tonight when he runs down the ramp on Monday Night Raw.

However, it is unclear of where he fits in with the New Era and what exactly his role will be.

He took to Twitter and talked about how he was going to be a guest on “The TODAY Show” and then would be heading over to the arena. He also said he would be wearing some special custom shorts that he received from Ellen DeGeneres.

Many believe that he could be going after the United States Championship again, which is back around the waste of “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev. There is also a good chance he could win the seventh and final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match, where the winner gets a guaranteed World Title shot over the next year.

It should be an exciting night for all when John Cena’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Be sure to tune into USA Network at 8 p.m. EST.
