Kenny Clark wants to keep working out with Packers

The rookies will be soon heading out and away from their respective teams’ minicamps after the weekend wraps up, but at least one is not happy about it. Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark is not happy with the NFL’s rule that forces him away from his team after rookie minicamps.

Other than this weekend’s camps, Clark and other rookies, who were underclassmen coming into the league, are not allowed to do offseason workouts until June. This is because schools’ academic years won’t wrap up until then.

I wish I could stay here,” Clark said, via ESPN. “I leave on Sunday. I wish I could stay here throughout the whole process, but I think that will probably be one of the more difficult parts — that I won’t be here with the team.”

Clark is an adult who just wants to begin his career in the NFL, so you can’t blame him for being upset. However, he just has to remember that it is just a few months away and then he can start working out with his team.

This must be good news for the Packers. Kenny Clark seems dedicated to working out and just being a part of their team going forward, so you know he is ready to start playing football again.
