The Georgia Bulldogs have improved their offensive line with the addition of another promising lineman from the FCS level. According to 247Sports.com, the Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have added Savannah State’s Sean Fogarty.
The 6-4, 300-pounder was named to the a third-team all-MEAC team last season.
Fogarty joins the Bulldogs as a walk-on.
The big question for Kirby Smart will be when his new offensive lineman is available.
“A graduate of Benedictine High School in Savannah, Fogarty should arrive in Athens in May and could have three years to play three, but based on the information we have gathered, it is likely that he will have two years to play two. It is also unclear whether or not he would be eligible immediately,” the report read.
It will be interesting to see where Fogarty fits in the Bulldogs’ plan moving forward and how long he will remain in Athens.
