Masters 2016: Shane Lowry sinks hole-in-one on 16

The final day of the Masters has already gotten off on a hot start and should come to an even more exciting close. Shane Lowry got things going when he nailed the first hole-in-one of the tournament.

His hole-in-one comes on the Par 3 16th hole. It is the 25th ace in Masters history and the first since Jamie Donaldson’s in 2013.

While Lowry is +3 on the day and +8 overall and likely won’t make up enough ground to cut into Jordan Spieth’s lead, he still will be able to leave the Masters knowing he had a memorable moment.

It was actually Lowry’s first hole-in-one in the United States for his professional career. It is just his second in his career.

What a way to end your run at the Masters.
