Michigan freshman RB Kareem Walker loves Jumpman uniforms

The Michigan Wolverines are looking to transition over to being a full-time Nike Jordan school next week and will be exactly that for next ten years. It seems some of the players have gotten an early look at the uniforms and freshman running back Kareem Walker loves the new look.

The Wolverines won’t have a very different look this year, but the uniforms will feature the Michael Jordan “Jumpman” logo. This will make them the first football teams to wear the logo, which is usually used for basketball teams.

Fans have already gotten an early look at some of the gear as head coach Jim Harbaugh was seen rocking it on his shorts and a sideline shirt a few weeks ago. Walker is not the only Wolverine to express his love for the uniforms.

“Our team cannot wait,” tight end Jake Butt told The Detroit News. “It’s a great honor to have our name and our brand next to Jordan, who’s obviously the greatest basketball player to ever play the game. To be the first one to pave the way as a Jordan football team, I know we’re all really, really excited.”

It will sure be interesting to see these uniforms when Kareem Walker and the rest of Michigan takes the field against Hawaii on Sept. 3.
