Mohamed Sanu likely landing with Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons just recently cut veteran wide receiver Roddy White and it looks like they are wasting little time to find his replacement. It looks like that replacement could come in the form of Mohamed Sanu.

According to ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini, the Falcons are expected to sign Sanu to a deal that is worth $7 million per year. This could become a big pickup for the Falcons as they look to move forward from White.

In his four years with the Cincinnatti Bengals, Mohamed Sanu has racked up 1,793 yards and 11 touchdowns. He struggled in 2015, catching just 33 passes for 394 yards and no touchdowns.

That struggling year comes after a promising 790 yard, five touchdown showing during the 2014 season. He could benefit from having a quarterback like Matt Ryan throw to him over the next few years.

What do you think, fans? Should the Falcons bring in Sanu or consider a different contract for the receiver?
