It seems as though the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be losing a piece of their offense for the 2016 season. Tight end Tyler Luatua has been rumored to be actively seeking a transfer and it looks like he will be taking his talents to another school with a religious background.
According to Terrell Williams, owner and operator of CougarAccess, a BYU sports blog, Luatua told him in an exclusive interview that he would be transferring to BYU.

Luatua was a three-star member of the Fighting Irish’s 2014 recruiting class and would have to sit out the 2016 season if the reports of his transfer decision are true.
In two seasons with the Irish, Luatua has yet to record any statistics, but he was expected to be a vital piece of their offense in 2016.
