Reports: Ex-Michigan RB Derrick Green transferring to TCU

When he first committed to the Michigan Wolverines, running back Derrick Green was a five-star recruit and one of the top players in the nation. Unfortunately for Green, his career never got of the ground at Michigan.

Green recorded just 898 yards and seven touchdowns during his time with the program.

Now, he is set to suit up for a new team for his final year of eligibility.

On Friday, it was announced that the former five-star recruit is set to join the TCU Horned Frogs as a graduate transfer for the upcoming season.

It will be interesting to see how Green fits in at TCU.

The program is coming off of an 11-2 season and is looking for another promising campaign, and Green will add another impressive talent to the running back depth chart.

Who knows, maybe the change of scenery is exactly what Green needs to finish his career on a high note.
