‘SEC Nation’ headed to Tennessee, Texas A&M for Week 1

While College GameDay is the premiere college football preview show, SEC Nation has made a push to be featured, at least when it comes to games in the best conference in the country.

The show announced that they would be doing two shows in the first week of the college football season.

ESPN put out a press release saying SEC Nation would visit two schools to open the season. They will be in Knoxville for the Tennessee Volunteers’ season opener against Appalachian State on Thursday, Sept. 1 and then Texas A&M’s opener against UCLA on Sept. 3.

It is a historic game for the Volunteers as it is their first opening game on Thursday since 1896. The game between the Aggies and Bruins is their fifth overall meeting and their first since 1998.

Maria Taylor will host the show this year with Paul Finebaum, Marcus Spears and Tim Tebow returning for a third year.
