If you are a fan of the Texas A&M Aggies, you had to wake up wondering what in the world was going on after Tate Martell caused a chain of events that delivered a devastating blow to the team’s upcoming recruiting classes.
It all started shortly before midnight when five-star quarterback Tate Martell announced he was decommitting from the program.

It was a stunning announcement that sent shockwaves through College Station.
While fans were understandably confused and taken aback by the news, it seemed to hit no one harder than Aggies wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead. Moorehead took to Twitter to preach about loyalty, though he wants everyone to believe the conveniently timed rant was in no way connected to the Martell news.

I love Texas A&M football. I guard it and respect it with my life. I don't take that lightly day to day

From there, things only got worse for the program.
Shortly after Moorehead’s rant, Mannie Netherly, a four-star wide receiver in the 2017 class, announced that he would also be decommitting from the Aggies program.

If that wasn’t bad enough, five-star wideout Tyjon Lindsey then announced he would no longer consider A&M after Moorehead’s tweets.

It’s safe to say that someone within the Aggies program is going to have a nice talk with Moorehead. If his soap box rant led to Texas A&M losing out on not just one, but three highly-talented players in the Class of 2017, it could be a very rough situation moving forward for the receivers coach.
