Texas C Jake Raulerson announces graduate transfer to UCLA

The Texas Longhorns went 4-8 during the 2015 season and hope to turn things around moving forward. They have a chance to do just that with a lot of their team returning for the 2016 season, but they will be without a big piece of their offensive line.

Center Jake Raulerson started all 12 games for the Longhorns in 2015, but he won’t be with the team going forward. He announced on Monday that he will be transferring to Westwood to continue his career with the UCLA Bruins.

Raulerson was a four-star member of the Longhorns’ 2013 recruiting class and he will graduate following this semester. This means he will be eligible to play immediately with the Bruins and will also have two years left to play.

Raulerson was the second-ranked center in the country for the 2013 class, meaning quarterback Josh Rosen has a talented lineman blocking for him the next two years.
