Video: Duke 5-star PG Frank Jackson suffers scary head injury

Class of 2016 five-star point guard and Duke Blue Devils commit Frank Jackson suffered a scary head injury while playing in the Jordan Brand Classic last night. As can be seen in the video below, the 6-foot-3, 180 pound Jackson was going up for a rebound and his head snapped back to the floor as he fell to the ground.

Jackson was forced to leave the game and did not return. He was treated for and diagnosed with a concussion, and is thankfully reported to be doing “fine.”

A former star at Utah’s Lone Peak High School, Jackson is one of three five-star members set to join Duke for the 2016-17 season, the others being the No. 1 and No. 2 overall recruits in the Class of 2016, forwards Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum.

Combined with the return of star guard Grayson Allen and rising sophomore Luke Kennard, those three prospects should have Duke in national title contention once again next season
