Video: LSU TE Dillon Gordon ‘doing great’ after bar fight

Just a few weeks ago, LSU tight end Dillon Gordon was involved in a scary incident where he was stabbed in a bar fight at Reggie’s, a popular bar just off the school’s campus. He was rushed to the hospital after the fight and has been recovering from minor injuries since then.

LSU head coach Les Miles has since stated that he was going to ban his players from visiting bars in the future, given the history Tiger players have with bar incidents. That may be the best thing to happen, especially for Gordon, who teammate DeSean Smith said is recovering pretty well in a recent video interview with TMZ.

Gordon’s attacker, Jamal Vaughn, has since been arrested and charged with battery.

Luckily Gordon’s injuries weren’t a lot worse than they could have been. Here’s hoping he makes a quick recovery and is ready to rejoin the team for spring practices, barring a setback with his prior Achilles injury.
